2015/2016 Titles

I have placed a rather large order, and I am excited to begin reading some newer titles. I am a bit behind on reading the current titles for 2016 and several from 2015. This happens to me each year. My “to read” list is huge, I mean never-ending!! I think it is a problem that most bookworm and book lovers suffer. Not that it is a bad problem by any means.

I also tend fall into stretches of only reading classics. Classics for a reason (wink) . But at last, summer is here and this hopefully means some time to catch up.  Although, waiting for my book haul to arrive is driving me insane! I mean, 3 to 5 business days?! What are they trying to do to me? In the great words of the lovely Miss Veruca Salt:

“I WANT IT NOW!”

In the meantime I thought I would share some of the titles I am excited to catch up on, and some that I am anticipating.  You can find my ever-growing list here on my Goodreads account. I know that for many of you, there will be titles that you instantly question the failure of to appear on my list. Please recommend them! The only thing I enjoy more than adding to my reading list is actually tackling it!

My Lady Jane by  Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows

Goodreads Synopsis
“The comical, fantastical, romantical, (not) entirely true story of Lady Jane Grey. In My Lady Jane, coauthors Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows have created a one-of-a-kind fantasy in the tradition of The Princess Bride, featuring a reluctant king, an even more reluctant queen, a noble steed, and only a passing resemblance to actual history—because sometimes history needs a little help.

At sixteen, Lady Jane Grey is about to be married off to a stranger and caught up in a conspiracy to rob her cousin, King Edward, of his throne. But those trifling problems aren’t for Jane to worry about. Jane gets to be Queen of England.”
