I actually devoted a large amount of time this past week on some newer posts. I introduced a segment “Celebrating the Holidays With Friends” where I am happy to be introducing you to some of the wonderful authors and writes I have met this year.

So far we have met Dave Johnston, the author of Atomic Number Sixty (which is free today on Kindle) and Massacre of Sixty, and also Brittany Quagan, the author of REN: Awakened!

My newest addition to what will become a regular part of Books, Vertigo and Tea is Pairing Teas & Reads. I had a tremendous amount of fun putting this together, and you can expect to see it regularly. I haven’t set a specific date or frequency yet due to prior commitments, but plan to see that in the near future. I was overwhelmed with the amount of positive feedback I received, so I am looking forward to continuing with this post!

And that wraps up this last week for me here in the blogisphere. Time to go do a bit of housework (which actually translates into “screw it- video games, books, and anime”). I hope you have had a fantastic week and Monday is kind 😉

Until Next Time..

Danielle ❤

    1. Haha, I am hoping it can be more regularly scheduled soon. I have found myself overwhelming busy all of the sudden, not just holidays but blog. I think I may have poorly timed some tours and reviews.. oops. Oh well.. there is a rainbow after every storm hah ❤

  1. Video games qualifies as house work, right? I think so. 🙂 Your new features sound good, looking forward to seeing those. And Fairest has quite the cover. It has a certain foreboding quality. Dream Waters looks cool too.

  2. Your new tea feature is a HUGE success! I had to scroll forever there are so many comments. I don’t think I have ever seen a tea and books feature. I am looking forward to more. Have a wonderful week. 🙂

When did you change your background back to pink? I just now noticed it.

    1. Yes, I keep going back and forth with the background. I am going to leave it for now as we plan to upgrade soon and it may change again haha. Thank you so much Linda! I am so pleased to receive all of the great feedback. It is a post I have been sitting and working on forever. So it means a lot ❤

  4. “screw it- video games, books, and anime”!!! YESSSS! OMG you’re living the life I wish I was living LMAO! you are actually responsible (this is how I’ve spun it to hubby) for my last Bookoutlet haul in which I purchased 2 new Manga. Since I find it impossible to watch anime the way my schedule is set up, this will have to do. I really do wish I could squeeze in some anime though but I prefer it subbed & as such can’t play it in the background at work w/out staring at my screen for hours on end lol *rambling* LOL Seems like you had a productive week, LOVED your new feature & will be getting my tea recs from you going forward. Enjoyed your review of Ren: Awakened. Will check out your thoughts on Fairest next 😉
