Pairing Teas & Reads

Happy Monday! Sorry for the delay in this post. I hope to feature Pairing Teas & Reads bi-monthly. However, it is not without its own challenges, so I am still working through some quirks. Enjoy!Teas & Read 3.png

  1. Cool post Danielle. I’m not much of a tea drinker, but I’m impressed with the work you must’ve put into this. Thanks. A while back I was looking to order Wissotzky teas from amazon, but for the life of me I cannot remember the flavor. This is going to bug me now πŸ™‚

  2. This is a very creative post! I do like tea but I’m a pretty boring black or Earl Gray drinker. In the summer I love a good herbal berry iced tea though. I may have to give Lavender a try in the evenings this winter that sounds like a good one…I’ll probably pair it with a crime or mystery:)

  3. Peppermint and wildberry teas are normally my favorites… I try to grow my own peppermint… the conditions aren’t the best so I am still experimenting the best results. I have had to start over quite a few years with replanting, sowing… but one day… one day I will have my fully functioning peppermint patch for fresh tea! πŸ˜€
    I have never tried lavender tea… oddly enough I don’t like the smell of lavender… strange… But… I Love this feature… always have, always will… ❀

  4. Great post!! I’m a coffee lover but used to drink tea all the time! I’ve never had lavender tea but for you, I will give it a try if and when I can find it here in the hole in the ground also known as Phoenix! Lol

  5. Lavender tea! I love the description of that one. Mmhhh…
Totally agree with your Tazo peppermint pairing with HP and Fablehaven. I’ve actually drunk it while reading HP and simple peppermint while reading Fablehaven.

  6. Is it bad that despite being a self-confessed tea fanatic, I didn’t realize lavender could come in tea form? Definitely going to have to buy some. I have some lavender essential oil and I find that very soothing πŸ™‚ I’ll have to get it in stock for when I read ‘A Monster Calls’ πŸ˜€

      1. Funny I sent to Lilly this morning a link of Barnes and Noble because it’s bargain priced. Since we both loved The Night Circus and The Bear and the has that same story telling atmospheric tone to it. I’m so happy it’s an all time’s sooooo good!!!!

  7. You are giving me tea envy again!! I need lavender tea! I want to check the calming effect, haha! Harry Potter and peppermint tea!! So good! I’ve done that a couple of times when I reading it in English for the first time πŸ™‚ Wilberry and fantasy, you’re the tea queen!

    1. Haha you are being too kind now ❀ I am hardly any queen, but a bit of a tea drinker. No expert for sure, but that doesn't mean this stuff is not falling out of my cabinets and off of the pantry πŸ˜‰ Wish you were near. I would have you over and we could do waffles and tea ❀

  8. I love peppermint tea so much! Especially with a little lemon or honey. I worked at Starbucks during the time when they switched from Tazo to Teavana and ended up bringing home so much Refresh Mint. That is one of my favorites! I’ve never tried Lavender or Wildberry though. Though I do know I love berry flavored tea so I’ll have to try that. Anyway! Great pairings, Danielle. Several of these books are on my list for this year and I’ll definitely have to read them while drinking one of these teas. 😊β™₯

  9. I love all three types of teas! Did you know when you were starting this post you wanted to feature all herbal teas? I also love that thread. These pairings are great. In particular, I really love the one for Wildberry tea. Cinder and The Sleeper and the Spindle?! Yes. In fact… I’ll go make some right now.

    1. Actually, it is not intentionally all herbal haha πŸ˜‰ I just tend to favor a lot of herbal teas. Many more than I realized this before starting these. Funny how that works. I am glad the Wildberry pairing is agreeing with so many. It was one of my favorites ❀
