You Choose, I Read: 1st Selection Is…

You Choose,I Read

This is my first selection for my new feature! I am pleasantly surprised to find that it is a title that has been on my TBR for a while! So without further ado..

Selection #1

Thank you Stephanie @TeacherofYa for selecting this retelling!

Goodread Information Here

I have already downloaded the title and hope to begin it shortly. Once I have completed The Bear and the Nightingale I will post a review and share a bit more about Stephanie and her wonderful bog!

Thank you for making this first drawing so fun! Have you read this title? What are your thoughts on Stephanie’s selection?

Next Selection

After my review is posted, I will host another drawing for the next selection. Please feel free to enter the same title over and over if you wish! The idea is to explore as many of your favorites as possible (or maybe least favorites πŸ˜‰ ).

  1. Yay!! I’m happy bc the next one, The Girl in the Tower, is coming out this year!
I hope you love it: it’s a mix of Russian folklore and fantasy and historical fiction. Please please let me know what you think!! 😊😊😊

    1. Well I will be reviewing it silly πŸ˜› So of course you will know ❀ I love Russian Folklore so this one has me excited. I will get a hold of you when I am putting the review together, as I will spotlight you as the selector πŸ™‚

  2. Yay, Stephy and Danielle both won!πŸ˜‚ Read lots of good reviews for this from a variety of bloggers, I hope you enjoy it and it’s cool that for the first pick on your feature it’s a book that was already on your TBR list and not some weird and wacky read! πŸ˜‚

  3. I looked up the book on GR and then immediately put it into my TBR pile. It looks awesome. I recently read one called The Snow Child which, kind of, reminds me of this one. Kind of… I think it is an excellent pick, and I cant wait to read your review.

  5. I’ve heard lots of good things about this book! I had to go read up on your idea for this feature. This is an amazing idea—allowing your readers to choose the book you read with very few limits. It seems both wonderful and scary!! πŸ™‚ I’ll be curious to see how it works out. Maybe you could get others to join you in this feature!

    1. Thanks Nicole! I have thought about possibly expanding to invite others to join in the future, just not quite ready for that πŸ˜‰ It is fun. I am also curious to see how it will play out. I am enjoying this book so far. Have a wonderful weekend!

  6. I’ve seen this around (not as much as I thought it would though) and am really curious to see how much you’ll enjoy it. The story sounds really awesome too! That Russia x Fantasy x Historical Fiction combo though! ❀

  8. Eek! This one is HIGH up on my TBR too. I own a copy and it’s been taunting me from my shelf ever since I received it. I’m going to need you to read it, love it, then sing high praises. Maybe then I will finally pick it up. No pressure…
