Update ~ Extended Hiatus This Month

TemporarilyOut.png

*I hate to insert this here, but please do not send review requests without seeing my policies. I am spending more time than necessary filtering emails for requests that I am not currently accepting.

It is with a very heavy heart that I must announce a temporary break for the month of August for medical purposes. I plan to continue on the new medications and hope to return by the end of the month.

If you currently have a pending spotlight, interview or review with BVT, I will be contacting you directly via email and greatly apologize for the inconvenience. I will continue to be available at booksvertigoandtea@gmail.com (contact form) and via my Goodreads profile. I will be refraining from social media but checking emails weekly.

Thank you again to all of you who have continued to follow and support me through this past year. This was a very difficult decision that I am saddened to make. But in the end health and life must come first and I know you would tell me the same. You guys truly are the best!

Please feel free to email or add and message me on GR. I look forward to returning in better health!

    1. I have to say, you are the best Claire! ❀ Always so understanding and supportive. Thanks for all of the tea. I am still sampling them, as my son made me promise not to finish them until he returned from his summer trip haha.

        1. I am doing okay πŸ™‚ A few symptom flare ups from time to time make things difficult. But I have awesome support and am able to work remotely, so it is all manageable. I cannot read on the app either πŸ˜‰ I took all of this month off, so you really did not miss anything here haha. Hope you have been well.

          1. I’m glad you are doing a bit better. I take it the new medication has helped? Working remotely is handy. I haven’t been too bad, thankfully, other than bad anxiety. I’m just glad pains have been under control while dealing with that lol

            1. The meds have not really had an effect that I can tell as headaches are still too frequent, but I think the rest has done wonders. Just being able to go lie down when needed is huge for me. Meds can take a while though, so I am hopeful!

          1. Keeping myself busy with life, work and reading, as always! πŸ˜€ With my reading speed, it’s hard to go through enough books to feel like one merits “Top Read of August” though hahaha I’ll gladly give it to The Child by Fiona Barton though. Well-written and well-executed thriller, I say! πŸ˜€ You??? Looking forward to all the reviews you probably have queued up for us. πŸ˜‰

            1. I have not combed back through my August list to pick a top read yet, but I will soon. It has been such an off month, that my focus has been all over the place. I do need to pick up a copy of The Child! I have heard nothing but raves for it πŸ™‚ Is it part of series or standalone?

              1. It’s a stand-alone. I hear there’s a character that however appears in both of her books though, but that’s doesn’t change anything continuity-wise. πŸ˜€ I’ll have to pick up her first book some day though, she seems to be a pretty decent author to follow.
