Sunday Sum~Up

Sunday Sum-Up

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer that I am linking my Sunday Sum-Ups with. Stop by and say hello!

These recaps seem to really dwindle in size as my time remains limited. I did not even manage a post last Sunday.  I honestly do not want to fall into the habit spending my time on here constantly discussing the many ways my body has become my own enemy and complaining, as my mindset needs some serious work. I do not wish to be that person and I realize I have so much to be thankful for. Sometimes though, it does wear on me. So for now, I will keep Sunday Sum~Ups brief and centered more on just books ❤

The Infinite Now
By Mindy Tarquini

In flu-ravaged 1918 Philadelphia, Fiora Vicente, the freshly orphaned and forward-thinking daughter of the local fortune teller, has goals. She has ambitions. But when faced with a future she hasn’t planned, she has second thoughts–and casts her community into a stagnant bubble of time.

Inside the bubble, life among Fiora’s superstitious neighbors continues, but nothing progresses, swamped by a steady stream of unspent seconds. As the pressure builds Fiora realizes she must find the courage to collapse the bubble–or risk trapping her dreams in an unbearable, unyielding, and infinite Now.

I am attemtping to prep a few posts today so that I will have some content this coming week, but my interactions and responses might remained delayed. My apologies in advance. May your week be filled with books and reading!

“I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! — When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.”

Happy Reading!

    1. I have never felt like you have complained about a single thing ❤ It is hard though. I try to be open and incorporate my own personal experiences in the blog and share, but I feel sometimes I must be a downer for doing so haha. It is a fine line, but for it all, I am a very happy person 🙂
