The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer that I am linking my Sunday Sum-Ups with. Stop by and say hello!
I am drafting this up, hoping it will post. The oven escapades continue, leaving a path of destruction in their wake. The longest story in the world made short, they tampered with things they should not have so we lost all online services and now the ovens are still incomplete. I am living off of wi-fi hotspot and trying to conserve data so I will be slow to catch up on comments and posts. But we have new techs coming today, fingers crossed. All in all, a busy week that I am ready to put behind me. Today will be spent picking up our son at the airport and enjoying some overdue family time.
The next newsletter will go out this week, so fill free to sub if interested. The link can be found on the right-hand side of the site (or bottom of the page for mobile users) 😉
I have picked up some new followers recently and would love to do a more current “get to know me” post. So I am inviting each of you to leave any possible questions you may have in the comments to help with this. I want to know what you want to know!
The Forgotten Girls
Nyxia (The Nyxia Triad #1)
By Scott Reintgen
Emmett Atwater isn’t just leaving Detroit; he’s leaving Earth. Why the Babel Corporation recruited him is a mystery, but the number of zeroes on their contract has him boarding their lightship and hoping to return to Earth with enough money to take care of his family.
Before long, Emmett discovers that he is one of ten recruits, all of whom have troubled pasts and are a long way from home. Now each recruit must earn the right to travel down to the planet of Eden—a planet that Babel has kept hidden—where they will mine a substance called Nyxia that has quietly become the most valuable material in the universe.
But Babel’s ship is full of secrets. And Emmett will face the ultimate choice: win the fortune at any cost, or find a way to fight that won’t forever compromise what it means to be human.

I have not listened too much other than my classical music station on Pandora this week. I am looking forward to a new week with fewer hurdles and a bit of normalcy (whatever that may be)! I hope that each of you is well and have enjoyed your weekend. Leave me a comment with your current reads, watches or even questions for the possible Q&A.
