Birthday Book Haul & Giveaway Winner!

I am terrible with posting book hauls (I don’t actually share them if being honest), but the last two weeks of being trapped in bed with limited mobility have me lying here doing exactly that! And I also want to announce the winner of my Books, Vertigo and Tea Turns 2! giveaway as the blog and I share a birthday week.

🎁The Haul🎁

The Hobbit (Illustrated by Jemima Catlin) by J.R.R. Tolkien
Caraval & Legendary by Stephanie Garber
Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody
The Graveyard Book (Graphic Novel) by Neil Gaiman
InkMistress by Audrey Coulthurst
Reign of the Fallen by Sarah Glenn Marsh
Labyrinth Lost and Bruja Born by Zoraida Cordova
Bright Burns the Night by Sara B. Larson

*The Hobbit illustrated edition was the highlight of my day, gifted to me by my daughter. I recently read Reign of the Fallen and immediately had to add a physical copy to my shelves. And for those of you who read my review, yes that is Caraval. I know, I know.. my first encounter was less than stellar. I have an interesting re-read planned.

🎉Giveaway Winner🎉

Congratulations to Evelina at Avalinah’s Books for winning the drawing for a book of choice from Book Depository. I have contacted her already and made arrangements.

Thank you to everyone for making these past two years incredibly rewarding and giving me so much more to look forward to!

Have you read any of the books from my haul?

  1. Happy birthday! You got a fab stack of books, I hope you enjoy reading them all. I know what it’s like to be stuck in bed for periods of time so you have my sympathy there. I hope things pick up for you soon, and in the meantime here’s to good books giving us places to go when we’re stuck where we are. xx

  2. That copy of the Hobbit looks really nice. If you get a chance sometime, do you think you could show us some of the illustrations? I haven’t seen that illustrator before and seeing another “take” would be great.
