The success or failure of an organization depends upon the effective combination of these factors. However, the management of ‘men’ means the employees of the organization. Their contribution towards organizational goal is well known to all, since pre-historic time to the most recent time. Whenever we talk about effectiveness and efficiency of an organization, we have to take a serious cognizance of employees as a major determining factor. Organizational effectiveness is critically dependant on how it attracts, recruits motivates and retains its work force. Today’s organizations need to be more flexible so that they are equipped to develop their workforce and enjoy their commitment. If we want an employee’s maximum contribution to work, he/she should be provided such a work environment where he/she will have a strong desire to work. The satisfied, happy and hard working employee is the biggest asset of any organization. The work force of any organization is responsible to a large extent for its productivity and profitability. The work environment has important bearing on the efficiency and satisfaction of the employees. A safe work environment provides the basis for a person to enjoy working. The work should not pose a health hazard for the person. Work performance is constantly affected by physical and psychological conditions of work. It is now increasingly realized that many work behavioural problems associated with performance, moral, absenteeism etc. can be solved with increasing awareness of improving the total work environment.

Background: In the competitive world, every employee having stress towards their respective jobs, in the banking industries employees facing job related stress to aching their task. This paper analysed that impact of job related stress on employee's job performance in selected public bank and private bank in Hyderabad city. Objectives: The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the causes and consequences of job stress, impact of coping strategies, job satisfaction and job performance of employees in selected public bank and private bank. Method: The study reported responses of 148 employees from public bank and private bank of Hyderabad. The Census method was adopted in the collection of data from individual employee's responses and tested by chi-square, correlation and independent t - sample test used with help of SPSS 20.0 Version. Findings: The results indicated that there was a strong association of job related stress on employee's performance, and there is a significance differences of these factors in selected public bank and private bank. Conclusion: According through employee's opinions, coping strategies like individual and organisational strategies are the best suitable solution to overcome the job stress in employee's performance.

This issue is addressed on the basis of multifarious aspects of job satisfaction, which covers, salary, healthy growth of an organization, promotional techniques, and implementation of objectives, emotion regulation of employees, productivity, efficiency, turnover etc. These are found vital for the concern of job satisfaction. This is mainly due to the fact, many experts believe that, presence of job satisfaction can obviate the obnoxious environment and can result in overall development of an organization. The study is descriptive in nature and the data has been collected through a self designed questionnaire administered to 200 employees who are employed in different branches of public and private sector commercial banks. The Canara Bank was chosen to represent the public sector banks while from the private sector banks, ICICI Bank was chosen. One hundred two employees responded to the questionnaires. Out of which only 91 respondents gave correct feedback. Likert's five point scale was used to determine the job satisfaction level of the respondents regarding salary and promotion. The respondents have been from top and middle management to lower level management. Overall, the present study reveals that employees need to be satisfied with their job to overcome the situation of absenteeism, role conflict, job induced tension, negative intention to leave the job and discrimination against them.
