These observations are then integrated into a real-world technology transferexample from the business arena--i.e., creation of a software package at astate university. This examination demonstrates the impact a systems-basedapproach can have on the technology transfer process.Critical questionsand observations result from this approach and are detailed in achart.Some of these questions include: (1) What feedback loops exist? (2)How successful was the dissemination of information in the researchenvironment? and (3) Did the mission statement change?(SRD).
