Coyote gets lonely in the wide-open spaces of the Potawatomi Reservation in Kansas, so he moves to New York City in search of work and a special friend. There he quickly gets himself a job as Rodent Control Officer at the World Trade Center. But he is always homesick, so at the end of the day, he escapes the crowds and hurry of the city by going up to the top of the tower to enjoy the quiet night skies. And one night he spots a star more beautiful than all of the others. . . . This original story centers on the Prarie Band Potawatomi, who were displaced several times from their original territory in the Great Lakes region to eventually be relocated in Kansas under the Indian Removal Act. Today, there are several bands of Potawatomi located in Wisconsin, Michigan, Oklahoma, and in Ontario, Canada.
