She knew that herbs and other plant products, were amazingly efficient, and effective in getting rid of minor ailments, which would be the lot and portion of her large family. That is why she used all those nostrums, infusions, decoctions, and other herbal products which had been passed on to her by her grandma and so on down the ages. So here is another collection of grandma’s natural remedies and ancient herbal recipes to keep you healthy, as well as beautiful. All these products are easily available right in your garden or in your kitchen. Best of all, they have no aftereffects and they have no side effects. That is because all these products are completely hundred percent natural. Why are so many people going back to natural remedies and ancient herbal recipes, in the 21st century? That is because they have found that chemical-based drugs and medicines have a short-term effect. They may also come accompanied with toxic effects, and side effects. So you are going to find yourself suffering from these long-term aftereffects. However, that is definitely not the case when you are taking natural remedies, which have been made with hundred percent natural products. And that is what grandma did. She gathered all the natural products available in her garden, or easily available in the woods, when she went rambling out gathering herbs, and brought them home. These were then used, to cure a number of ailments. Some of them seem rather drastic, but you need to remember that grandma was more of an experimenter. She knew that there was one product in these herbal combinations which did all the magic. The rest were just “filling.”

No wonder he was always shown with grapevine leaves around his head. The Romans called him Bacchus and also Eleutherios, which meant the Liberator. The idea was those taking part in celebrating his existence were free from care and worry. That was because they drank freely of the fruit of the grape during their Bacchanals. A Greek friend told me that according to Greek legend, Dionysius was supposed to have come to India, and Alexander the great during his conquest entered an Eastern city called Nysa , of which the inhabitants told him of its raising by this demi-God. He taught them practices which were incorporated in their own social rituals and festivals. Ah, well, that is a good myth, but then wine was definitely not unknown in the East. It was one of the first gourmet pleasures discovered and appreciated for millenniums. So if this demigod came to the Indian subcontinent he would have been fed Madira or Soma Rasa -the ancient and traditional drink of the gods! The names Dennis, Denise and Dion are derivatives from this original Greek name. So for all of us who would like to raise a toast to the gods in a glass of homemade wine, this book is going to teach you how you can grow vines very successfully in sunny atmospheres. After that, it is going to teach you how to make wines for home consumption. If you look at wine making practices, which are being practiced today, it is a very scary and complicated process. This is because of our usage of complex and complicated tools. The practices I am going to teach you have been in use for centuries. You are not going to be buying expensive tools. You are going to be making wine, the traditional way.

The Science of Living With Honesty and Integrity available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. The Science of Living With Honesty and Integrity Table of Contents Introduction Earning Good Karma. Quite an honest man! Let My Conscience Speak for Me Black, Gray and White – Inflexibility And Compromise. Walk Quietly by, by the Other Side Conclusion Author Bio Introduction “Integrity is telling myself the truth. And honesty is telling the truth to other people.”- Spencer Johnson. I was reading a story by a French writer, in the 17th century, and I found this line very amusing. “The more he talked about his honesty, the faster we counted our spoons.” Well, cynicism is definitely not something new in the 21st century. It has passed down the ages, and especially, when Shakespeare said “The lady doth protest too much, methinks,” when he wrote Hamlet in 1602. Here was a clear-sighted person who knew that somebody was trying to persuade herself and trying to pretend to the world that what she was saying was her own belief and the truth as she saw it. How many of us are self-deceivers? Some of us will not and cannot face reality. Some of us are ready to blame others for our shortcomings. Some of us are quite prepared to fight for what we consider to be the truth, because we have expounded it, and we want other people to share our beliefs and thoughts. Be honest with yourself. Once you have faced reality, you can be honest with others. Honesty, especially when you are able to face reality, and you can understand that you are in the wrong or you are in the right is something very few people can do. They would rather stick their heads in the sand, hoping against hope that the problem is going to go away. Of course, they were not responsible for that particular problem. It just happened. I was reading a Novel by Amanda Quick in which the whole family decided that they belonged to Bad blood, which was frivolous, spendthrift, and definitely not responsible. That is why they could fob off all their extravagances, and stupid behavior, to this excuse, “we cannot help it, our ancestors were like that and they passed on their habits to us.” This was Regency England. Even today, we have plenty of people using the same excuse, because they are definitely not honest enough to admit it that they do not have the strength or the willpower or the inclination to make something of themselves. They would rather go with the wind, and pretend helplessly, that they really cannot do something, because, well, they are not capable of doing that. They belong to a genetically imperfect family, they do not have any money, they have always been pulled down by circumstances and situations, and other such puerile and feeble excuses. These are just ways and means in which they can shirk their responsibilities. These people are slackers and freeloaders. They are not honest, to themselves, or to others, however much they may pretend to be honest in the given sense of the word. They also do not have personal integrity.
