Islam has exhibited and screened her films in London, New York, Paris, Germany, Indonesia, Malaysia and Bangladesh. She has also made films in New York, Bangladesh, Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand and London for the British Council, Arts Council and Commonwealth Institute.
