Reports that the Federalists are split between Benjamin Lincoln and Samuel Adams for Lieutenant Governor. Refers to Cincin, possibly Benjamin Lincoln. Harbors distrust for Mr. Jarvis, a land speculator, and discourages Knox from entering into any business dealings with him. Notes that Mrs. [Hepzibah] Swan, wife of James Swan, is doing well.
