Ku-band Modular MMICs for Up to 5W Power Blocks for VSAT Applications available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. An innovative approach to a quick design of multi-watts Ku-band power amplifiers for VSAT up-link applications is proposed. Starting from a set of specifically developed MMIC power macrocells, a modular imptementation is used to combine them into power modules requiring no adjustment and delivering up to 5W with 24dB associated gain in the 14-15.5GHz frequency band. The basic MMIC single chips exhibit a ldB gain compression output power of respectively : 200mW, 500mW and 1.6W. 3 W and 5W power modules are presented as examples.

Download and read online ebook Managing Temperature Effects in Nanoscale Adaptive Systems write by David Wolpert. This book was released on 2011-08-31. Managing Temperature Effects in Nanoscale Adaptive Systems available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. This book discusses new techniques for detecting, controlling, and exploiting the impacts of temperature variations on nanoscale circuits and systems. A new sensor system is described that can determine the temperature dependence as well as the operating temperature to improve system reliability. A new method is presented to control a circuit’s temperature dependence by individually tuning pull-up and pull-down networks to their temperature-insensitive operating points. This method extends the range of supply voltages that can be made temperature-insensitive, achieving insensitivity at nominal voltage for the first time.
