The Solvents Database, 3rd Edition is an extensive compilation of 140 properties of 1,627 solvents. This is a significant increase over the second edition, and the amount of information contained within the database is 65% more than the previous edition. The database was developed to contain information vital to any solvent application in one comprehensive source. It is for formulators to select ideal solvents and for safety coordinators to protect workers. Legislators and inspectors can also use the database to define and implement technically correct public safeguards on solvent use, handling, and disposal. There are five sections in this third edition as opposed to three in the previous. The extra sections were included as a result of customer suggestions. Download and read online ebook CRC Handbook of Enthalpy Data of Polymer-Solvent Systems write by Christian Wohlfarth. This book was released on 2006-02-21. CRC Handbook of Enthalpy Data of Polymer-Solvent Systems available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. The CRC Handbook of Enthalpy Data of Polymer-Solvent Systems presents data that is as essential to the production, process design, and use of polymers as it is to understanding the physical behavior and intermolecular interactions in polymer solutions and in developing thermodynamic polymer models. Providing an all-encompassing collection of current enthalpy data for all types of polymer solutions, this handbook is a ready companion with Christian Wohlfarth’s previously published handbooks of thermodynamic data for copolymer solutions, aqueous polymer solutions, and polymer solutions at elevated pressures, which contain only a small amount of enthalpic data in comparison to the data presented here. This volume contains 1770 data sets that include enthalpies of mixing and dilution for the entire concentration range as well as partial enthalpies of mixing and solution at infinite dilution. Special appendices allow scientists to access specific systems and data easily. The CRC Handbook of Enthalpy Data of Polymer-Solvent Systems is a practical, one-stop resource that allows polymer chemists, biochemists, chemical engineers, materials scientists, and physical chemists involved in both industrial and laboratory processes to quickly retrieve relevant information as needed.

National Toxicology Program's Chemical Solubility Database - read free eBook in online reader or directly download on the web page. Select files or add your book in reader. Download and read online ebook National Toxicology Program's Chemical Solubility Database write by Lawrence H. Keith. This book was released on 1991-12-20. National Toxicology Program's Chemical Solubility Database available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. This database is a compilation of experimentally-determined solubility ranges of over 1,700 compounds in the National Toxicology Program's Chemical Repository. Each compound's solubility was determined in a consistent manner in one to six solvents. Solvents chosen were those most commonly used for toxicology studies, spill cleanups, and chemical synthesis or chemical reaction experiments. These solvents include acetone, 95% ethanol, water, dimethyl sulfoxide, methanol, and toluene. Data for many of the research and industrial chemicals featured in this database does not exist anywhere else. The database is also remarkably simple to use and offers many features that make finding information quick and easy. Compounds can be located by using partial names such as acids, amines, ketones, cyanides, and ethers. You can also locate compounds by using their CAS Number or by entering the specific chemical name. The program is entirely menu-driven and can perform Boolean "and/or" type searches. It comes equipped with one 3-1/2" diskette and one 5-1/4" diskette, a 20-page manual, and can run on IBM or IBM compatible hardware. Dos 2.0 or higher, 640K of internal memory, and 1mb of hard drive memory are required. National Toxicology Program's Chemical Solubility Database is a "must have" program for toxicologists, safety professionals and industrial hygienists, and chemists.
