This book was released on 1997. Some First-row Transition Metal Complexes of N, N'-bis[3-(salicylideneimino)propyl]piperazine available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. The compound N, N'-bis[3-(salicylideneiminopropyl)piperazine (H2PSAP) has been made and its complexes studied. A mononuclear [Fe(PSAP)] complex cation has been isolated and characterized as its tetrachloro-ferrate(III) and tetraphenylborate salts. An x-ray structure of [Fe(PSAP)]BPh4 is compared with an analogous Co(III) complex. Attempts to make nutral PSAP−2 complexes with Ni2, Cu+2 and Zn+2 are reported. The products obtained are described.
