Corinne Crowder's latest book of poems called Still Here, for Thou Art with Me was written when she was between the ages of twenty to thirty years old. Ms. Crowder's poems reflect a transparency into her many tormenting struggles . . . painful in their content, yet poignant in their honesty and sincerity. Along with sharing her battles, Ms. Crowder reveals a deep faith in the Lord and her dependency on God's grace, mercy, forgiveness, and restoration. Ms. Crowder continues to reveal her innermost being with the hope that sharing her life's difficult and arduous journey will be able to reach out to those who have been in her shoes and have also struggled in life whether it be mental illness, selfaEUR"harm, insecurities, delusions, physical illness, broken hearts and relationships, broken marriages, addictions, abuse of any kind-sexual or otherwise, imprisonment, rejection and abandonment, utter loneliness, nervous breakdowns, broken families, way too many nearaEUR"death experiences, some suicide attempts, lost in a battle with your faith, and being far from perfect and just wanting someone who understands. Her poems speak for those who may not know how to put their struggles into words. Let her words give you some comfort in knowing that she has gone through all of those things, and she is still here. The only reason she is still here is because she put her faith in Jesus when she was seven years old, and even though she fought with God, He has never left her and never will. She urges you to find comfort also in a relationship with God. It's never going to be perfect, and life will sometimes only seem to get harder. As this is being read she hopes she has left behind enough words in her poetry to help even just one soul out there. God bless.

Imagine for one second that you’re with someone, maybe a friend or relative, spouse or co-worker, and before you could barely blink your eyes, something happens and you look up and they are gone without a trace, without a clue. You look and feel all around but they are not there. You yell out for them, but still there is no answer. They just disappeared or vanished into thin air. The only thing remaining from them is maybe the clothing that they were wearing when they were with you. Things happened so fast that you didn’t see what happened to them. They were so quick that even the cameras and video surveillance didn’t capture what happened. Things changed in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, and at the speed of lightning. “Then shall two be in the field, the one shall be taken and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken and the other left”(Matthew 24:40-41). Now in enters chaos.

Download and read online ebook For Thou Art with Me write by Judith Lane Bynum. This book was released on 2018-05-25. For Thou Art with Me available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Every person who goes through the emotional and physical upheaval of cancer has a story. Most, however, do not write it down. In this remarkable collection of poems, Judith Bynum has shared a bit of her soul. In the midst of her pain and suffering of cancer, she expresses hanging questions, lingering doubts, and uncertain futureswhat most people cannot easily verbalize. When she felt her worst, the verses came rumbling and tumbling out of her in the wee hours of the morning, calming the pain in the process. The poems were her ladder out of the hole. In times when she felt her faith and hope slipping, the poetry helped her look up, and there was God, always near. The power of the poems is that they were written in the midst of the pain, not afterward, looking back. Judiths ability to express herself will hopefully help a cancer victim who is struggling to find the right words. That in itself is powerful. Sharing her weaknesses and vulnerabilities is what makes these poems real. Often she offers a humorous view of the trials of cancer and the changes it wreaks on the body and spirit. There is no resignation or acquiescence in the words, both of which are seen often among those who are struggling; instead, there is acceptance and surrender. In the midst of her questions and pains, her faith shines through. This powerful book will inspire readers to remember that God is always near.
