The Holy Quran literally meaning "the recitation"; also romanized as Qur'an or Koran is the central religious text of Islam, which Muslims believe to be a revelation from Allah (swt) (God). This particular edition was translated by two Madina based scholars Dr. Muhsin Khan and Dr. Taqi-ud-Din Hilali. It features frequent footnotes gleaned by the translators from Tafsir At-Tabari, Al-Qurtubi and Tafsir Ibn Kathir, and Sahih-al-Bukhari.
