During my senior year at seminary, I was substitute preaching at a small rural church in southwest Ohio on the topic: Turning the World Upside Down. Thessalonians were saying that about those first Christians. A lady greeted me after the service with the question, and a hint of desperation in her voice: Tell me, what can I do? I had no answer back then. This book would be my answer now. Sometime after seminary, it became my passion to recover the faith and experience of New Testament Christianity. Fifty years later, after encountering Christ, serving in pastoral ministry, studying Scripture, and journaling to remember lessons God was teaching me, this book is a summary of my understanding of New Testament Christianity. It focused on Jesus (Incarnate Lord), His word (truth), and His kingdom (limitless resources). If we return to preaching and teaching the Kingdom message, we will turn this world right side up. The power will return, the anointing will return, the glory of God will return, and we will see mighty works of God happening in all nations. We will witness in this day the apostles and prophets’ band together, Jews and Gentiles band together, spiritual gifts in operation like never seen before. This is the day that the army of the Lord is seen marching forth shattering the spiritual walls of religion and apostasy. God is saying to those that have ears to hear, take another look into the spirit realm, take another look into the supernatural and great and mysterious things will be revealed.
