Fans of More Happy Than Not and The Perks of Being a Wallflower will cheer for Adam in this uplifting and surprisingly funny story of a boy living with schizophrenia. When you can't trust your mind, trust your heart. Adam is a pretty regular teen, except he's navigating high school life while living with paranoid schizophrenia. His hallucinations include a cast of characters that range from the good (beautiful Rebecca) to the bad (angry Mob Boss) to the just plain weird (polite naked guy). An experimental drug promises to help him hide his illness from the world. When Adam meets Maya, a fiercely intelligent girl, he desperately wants to be the normal, great guy that she thinks he is. But as the miracle drug begins to fail, how long can he keep this secret from the girl of his dreams? "Echoing the premise and structure of Flowers for Algernon, this [is a] frank and inspiring novel." --Publishers Weekly, starred review Don't miss Just Our Luck, another stunning book by Julia Walton. Coming in 2020!

From the author of Words on Bathroom Walls—now a major motion picture—comes a romance in the spirit of Dear Evan Hansen about overcoming anxiety—and about finding love and friendship in unlikely places. ★ "A masterpiece" —Kirkus, starred review "Bad luck follows lies." That was the first rule for life that Leo's Greek grandmother, Yia Yia, gave him before she died. But Leo's anxiety just caused a fight at school, and though he didn't lie, he wasn't exactly honest about how it all went down . . . how he went down. Now Leo's father thinks a self-defense class is exactly what his son needs to "man up." "Leave the Paros family alone." That was Yia Yia's second rule for life. But who does Leo see sitting at the front desk of the local gym? Evey Paros, whose family supposedly cursed Leo's with bad luck. Seeing that Leo is desperate to enroll in anything but self-defense class, Evey cuts him a deal: she'll secretly enroll him in hot yoga instead—for a price. But what could the brilliant, ruthless, forbidden Evey Paros want from Leo? Sharp, honest, and compulsively readable, Just Our Luck is as funny as it is heartwarming. "A feel-good story, with shades of Holes and The Karate Kid" —Bulletin

Bathroom Poetry - read free eBook in online reader or directly download on the web page. Select files or add your book in reader. Download and read online ebook Bathroom Poetry write by T.A. Dieringer. This book was released on 2015-01-20. Bathroom Poetry available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. This book is not about poetry; it is simply a book to read while one relieves him or herself in the latrine, bathroom, head, or toilet, while taking a crap, dropping a stool, pinching a loaf, dropping the kids off at the lake, I could go on, but I am sure you get the picture. There are quotes from the stalls of many bathroom walls found all over the world. Now since I am male, I did not have a chance to visit many, if any, female bathrooms (sorry, ladies), so I do not have many quotes from said places. Some subject material may be offensive. Please read with cautious trepidation. Some are personal quotes, things that pop into my brain at any given moment. Sometimes these thoughts are followed by bouts of laughter that cause people that are standing near me to think that I am strange. They usually react by walking away fast. But I decided to add these thoughts to Bathroom Poetry anyways. Some quotes are famous and semifamous quotes. Some are unknown author quotes. Many of the quotes were found on the stalls of bathrooms from all over the globe. I have collected many quotes from memory during my travels around the world while serving twenty-one years in the United States Navy. This book is meant for entertainment value only. Any words of wisdom gleaned while reading this book is pure shit-house luck.

On the Subject of Unmentionable Things available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. In this Amazon Best Book of the Month--with a very timely theme around girls and their bodies--a teen rewrites sex education, one viral post at a time. Phoebe Townsend is a rule follower . . . or so everyone thinks. She’s an A student who writes for her small-town school newspaper. But what no one knows is that Phoebe is also Pom—the anonymous teen who’s rewriting sex education on her blog and social media. Phoebe is not a pervert. No, really. Her unconventional hobby is just a research obsession. And sex should not be a secret. As long as Phoebe stays undercover, she’s sure she’ll fly through junior year unnoticed. . . . That is, until Pom goes viral, courtesy of mayoral candidate Lydia Brookhurst. The former beauty queen labels Phoebe’s work an “assault on morality,” riling up her supporters and calling on Pom to reveal her identity. But Phoebe is not backing down. With her anonymity on the line, is it all worth the fight? Julia Walton delivers a brutally honest novel about sex, social media, and the courage to pursue truth when misinformation is rife. Who knew truth could be so scandalous?
